The whip cracking KTM 125 SX has been at the front for years. With the phenomenal performance on tap, it will be there for many more seasons to come. A compact chassis and the lowest weight out there is teamed up with a high performance 125cc 2-stroke engine for a surefire trophy collection.
FRAME: High-tech, lightweight chrome-moly steel frame for excellent handling, precise cornering and stability. With extra-light aluminum subframe, weighing less than 2 pounds.
FOOTPEGS: Â´No DirtÂ´ clogging in the pivot, even in deep ruts. 6mm higher than SX.
AIRBOX: Large twin-air filter mounted in a stiff cage. Change filters in seconds, without tools.
HANDLEBARS: Tapered one, made of high-strength aluminum by NEKEN, fixed in damped rubber mounts and has two different positions.
An hour meter is fitted at the upper triple clamp in order to let the rider know itâ€™s time for a service.
WHEELS: Lightweight, CNC machined hubs and high-end Excel rims, they guarantee maximum stability and minimal unsprung weight.

As of model year 2017, all KTM 2-stroke models are fitted with new MIKUNI TMX carburetors, replacing the Keihin products.
MONOSHOCK: The WP monoshock has a new setting and a softer spring perfectly match the reworked front-end set-up.
FORKS: The lightweight WP USD 48mm front forks, are a split fork with separate functions for each leg. Damping functions on the right, air spring on the left and easy to adjust via a single air valve. No special tools; just the air pump provided.
BRAKES: The high-tech Brembos are combined with lightweight wave discs. The rear brake features a 10mm longer brake pedal.
