Great dealer in the south of Sydney. Bought 6 new bikes in the last 9 years, always get great trade in prices and friendly service from the sales guys and the service department. And the parts department has an extensive range of genuine and after market products and competent and helpful team. Feels more like a family than a dealership. When I bought my GS 1200 Adventure through a private sale it was 6 months old. I made a decision to find a dealership I could form a relationship with and commit to regular BMW Servicing. This was the best decision as Procycles and BMW have exceeded my expectations in terms of customer service. Antony, Damien and BMW have gone out of their way to honour my loyalty to them by looking after me each time. Because I made the decision to show loyalty they have serviced way beyond expectations which in the long run has saved me a lot of money. Thanks to all the team at Procycles Hornsby.

These guys get the thumbs up from me. Triumph Street Twin had an issue of stalling when cold as soon as I took delivery. PS Ringwood, where I bought the bike second hand, said no problem. NS Artarmon said try to keep the throttle open. Triumph Australia said not a problem, but these guys found the issue. Valve clearances had closed up, may have been this way from new. Now the bike runs brilliantly. A big thanks to Damien who is focused on customer service and a helpful face behind the counter and Anthony who persisted in diagnosing the issue.

Feedback on those Wunderlich pillion foot peg extenders. 1. Simple & quick instal. 2. Has made a huge difference for my pillion with less leg ache with the drop in height with her legs previously being bent upwards a little too much, and another big point was the slight move forwards gives more space for feet when panniers fitted. Prior, her feet were more wedged in, hard against panniers, rather than allowing some comfortable wiggle space. Thanks again.

As soon as you placed the new tyre on, the wobbling was immediately eliminated! I love the bike and I really appreciated the team’s willingness to listen and help me resolve what was such an odd issue (i.e. wobbling only between 90 and 70kmh). Thank you for taking the time to contact us in relation to the repair of your BMW F800GSA!

It is great news that we were able to eventually rectify this unusual phenomenon.

We did find a small issue with the bead of the tyre however we do not believe this was the contributing cause of the steering instability. This is based on the process of elimination carried out:

First the complete front wheel was replaced from our demo BMW F800GSA rectifying the fault.

Next, we fitted the tyre from our demo 800 to the wheel originally fitted to your F800GSA and although the steering was more stable, a wobble could still be detected.

This lead us to believe the front wheel was ultimately at fault. Previous inspection had the balance and run out the wheel in spec so at this time we do not have an explanation as to how the wheel is faulty causing the wobble. 

The tyre was replaced as a precaution due to the issue detected on the bead.

I hope this all makes sense and provides a little piece of mind that the tyre wasn’t the primary cause. Please feel free to contact us if you wish to discuss this or any other concern with your motorcycle.

“I purchased a front brake master cylinder for my Suzuki GS500 over the phone from your Hornsby Spare Parts department. I wanted to write to applaud the excellent service that I received from your Parts Manager Nick. I needed the part urgently and was informed it had to come from Suzuki in Melbourne. Not only did Nick locate the part and have it sent up overnight, but to my surprise he hand-delivered the parcel to my house at 7.15pm the next day, and gave me a few tips on how to bleed the front brake circuit when I installed it. Go Nick … he knows how to deliver a great customer experience … something that’s hard to find these days.”

I see some negative review comments about Anthony in the workshop and it makes me chuckle – whilst he might not win a prize for his manner he has always done the right thing by me, in particular in relation to warranty claims even when they were arguably outside of the period. Likewise I’ve always found him willing to accommodate requests re timeframes and he has gone out of his way to pick up my bike. So if you want a big “service department smile” then maybe Procycles isn’t top of the list, but practical and accommodating I have always found them to be.”

As soon as you placed the new tyre on, the wobbling was immediately eliminated! I love the bike and I really appreciated the team’s willingness to listen and help me resolve what was such an odd issue (i.e. wobbling only between 90 and 70kmh). Thank you for taking the time to contact us in relation to the repair of your BMW F800GSA!

It is great news that we were able to eventually rectify this unusual phenomenon.

We did find a small issue with the bead of the tyre however we do not believe this was the contributing cause of the steering instability. This is based on the process of elimination carried out:

First the complete front wheel was replaced from our demo BMW F800GSA rectifying the fault.

Next, we fitted the tyre from our demo 800 to the wheel originally fitted to your F800GSA and although the steering was more stable, a wobble could still be detected.

This lead us to believe the front wheel was ultimately at fault. Previous inspection had the balance and run out the wheel in spec so at this time we do not have an explanation as to how the wheel is faulty causing the wobble. 

The tyre was replaced as a precaution due to the issue detected on the bead.

I hope this all makes sense and provides a little piece of mind that the tyre wasn’t the primary cause. Please feel free to contact us if you wish to discuss this or any other concern with your motorcycle.

Not only did Nick locate the part and have it sent up overnight, but to my surprise he hand-delivered the parcel to my house at 7.15pm the next day, and gave me a few tips on how to bleed the front brake circuit when I installed it. Go Nick … he knows how to deliver a great customer experience … something that’s hard to find these days.”

I see some negative review comments about Anthony in the workshop and it makes me chuckle – whilst he might not win a prize for his manner he has always done the right thing by me, in particular in relation to warranty claims even when they were arguably outside of the period. Likewise I’ve always found him willing to accommodate requests re timeframes and he has gone out of his way to pick up my bike. So if you want a big “service department smile” then maybe Procycles isn’t top of the list, but practical and accommodating I have always found them to be.”

Feedback on those Wunderlich pillion foot peg extenders. 1. Simple & quick instal. 2. Has made a huge difference for my pillion with less leg ache with the drop in height with her legs previously being bent upwards a little too much, and another big point was the slight move forwards gives more space for feet when panniers fitted. Prior, her feet were more wedged in, hard against panniers, rather than allowing some comfortable wiggle space. Thanks again.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us in relation to the repair of your BMW F800GSA!

It is great news that we were able to eventually rectify this unusual phenomenon.

We did find a small issue with the bead of the tyre however we do not believe this was the contributing cause of the steering instability. This is based on the process of elimination carried out:

First the complete front wheel was replaced from our demo BMW F800GSA rectifying the fault.

Next, we fitted the tyre from our demo 800 to the wheel originally fitted to your F800GSA and although the steering was more stable, a wobble could still be detected.

This lead us to believe the front wheel was ultimately at fault. Previous inspection had the balance and run out the wheel in spec so at this time we do not have an explanation as to how the wheel is faulty causing the wobble. 

The tyre was replaced as a precaution due to the issue detected on the bead.

I hope this all makes sense and provides a little piece of mind that the tyre wasn’t the primary cause. Please feel free to contact us if you wish to discuss this or any other concern with your motorcycle.

I see some negative review comments about Anthony in the workshop and it makes me chuckle – whilst he might not win a prize for his manner he has always done the right thing by me, in particular in relation to warranty claims even when they were arguably outside of the period. Likewise I’ve always found him willing to accommodate requests re timeframes and he has gone out of his way to pick up my bike. So if you want a big “service department smile” then maybe Procycles isn’t top of the list, but practical and accommodating I have always found them to be.”
