Searching for Triumph motorcycles? Maybe when you were riding you saw a Triumph bike on the road. You noticed the ruggedness, the power, the elegance and the performance. Now you want one for yourself.
Or, maybe it’s your first bike. A Triumph might just be what you want and you want it as soon as possible.
But before you rush to the showroom, here are 3 things you need to consider first:
1. Engine capacity
Higher CCs can mean more power and speed. What is CC by the way?
CC stands for cubic centimetres. It’s the bike’s engine capacity. When it has higher capacity, the more air and fuel it can use in any given time. That higher capacity will allow the bike to generate more power.
However, this could also mean faster gas depletion. This is one drawback many fans tolerate though in exchange for power.
2. Twin or Triple cylinder (or more)
This also relates to power. The more cylinders there are, the more power the bike can generate. This is due to the more cylinders processing air and fuel.
Some say that more cylinders mean heavier bikes. You can’t have it all as they say.
However, advances in materials and engineering can make it all possible. More cylinders won’t necessarily mean heavier bikes. It could also mean more power without sacrificing anything.
Basically, it all boils down to a cooler-sounding name. The more cylinders there are, the cooler it might be.
Rule of thumb here: The cooler the features and the higher the numbers, the more expensive it will be.
If a particular Triumph motorcycle makes you drool, expect it to be expensive.
