Jordan had been in regular communication with our Procycles Kawasaki Sydney sales team for two months, wanting more information and any news on the expected arrival date of the brand-new 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX. Then, one morning, without warning, it just turned up. One of the first of the SX models to arrive in Australia. We were able to ring Jordan and give him the incredible news. Not only did we know the delivery date, but we had one in the shop. Jordan gave us a deposit over the phone and hours later he was in the showroom taking a closer look. No wonder he was so keen. This new model is an incredible motorcycle.The Ninja 1100SX takes sport riding to the next level,combining superbike technology and sport touring capability with a 1099 cc engine, rider aid electronics, and 2-up relaxed riding position.The highly rigid aluminium frame offering a balance of agility and firm handling. Brendan came in early, looking for a very special Christmas present for his 8 year old son, who was riding the wheels off his old Peewee 50. It was definitely time for this mini-motocrosser to get serious. A KTM 50 SX with real suspension, lots of power and race-bred handling was required. At Procycles KTM Hornsby we had just sold our last one – so Brendan had us order one in from KTM, to arrive before Christmas. Peter traded his BMW S1000 XR onto the latest BMW R1300 GS Trophy, kitted out by the factory with the Pro Enduro Package, Forged Wheels, Adaptive Height Control and the amazing ASA - Automated Shift Assist, a feature now available on the 2025 model R1300 GS. ASA is essentially an automatic gearbox that electronically assists clutch control and shifting. There is no need for a manual clutch lever, which makes starting, stopping and manoeuvring a breeze. ASA creates an even more direct link to the powerful boxer engine, which makes for a silky smooth transition between gears and irons out any loss of torque riders may have previously experienced between changes, with a manual gearbox. Adaptive Height Control is another engineering marvel, The bike ride height drops when you come to a stop and rises again when you take off. A big help to those of us who are vertically challenged. Rain, hail or shine, Peter was picking up his new bike from Procycles BMW Sydney. And he was really looking forward to a whole new BMW riding experience.

Norbert spends part of his working year overseas and he actually arrived back into Australia on the morning of his new bike day. Straight off the plane to Procycles BMW Sydney. Fortunately, being only 10 minutes from the airport, we were only a cheap Uber ride away. Norbert celebrated his arrival the best way possible, by riding home on his brand new BMW R1300 GS Trophy. At Procycles, we know Norbert well. He’s a returning customer, having purchased two BMW RT’s from us in the past. He still has his 2022 R1250 RT, but Norbert wanted something that would handle the dirt roads a little more effectively. BMW classifies the R1300 GS as an Adventure Tourer, but the Trophy variant really focusses the bike’s capability back to the dirt. The Trophy is loaded with all the BMW optional packages, particularly the Dynamic package with Quick-shifter, Pro Ride Modes, and Sports Brakes. And the Enduro Pro features of Handlebar risers, Engine and Frame protection, short Levers, wider Foot-pegs, adjustable Gear and rear Brake lever. There are other extras also, including Sport suspension, an Akrapovic muffler and off-road biased rubber.

John visited us at Procycles Kawasaki Sydney, still undecided about which motorcycle to buy. He wanted a performance tourer and all his friends were urging him to check out Kawasaki’s 2024 H2 SX. As it happened, we had a 2024 demonstrator model available in excellent condition with very low kilometres. Once we explained the stats of this incredible machine, John was totally sold. The H2 SX inline-four delivers 200hp @ 11,000rpm, while the all-important torque is a monstrous 137.3Nm at a very usable 8,500rpm. Kawasaki’s Rider Support Technology includes a whole host of electronic aids, many of which come in quite handy when exploring this 200hp supercharged rocketship. Kawasaki’s Cornering Management Function takes information from a number of sources including the IMU during the cornering, to make the transition from braking to getting back on the throttle as smooth as possible. This involves modulating the brake force, engine power and electronic suspension to keep the bike as balanced as possible, while the cornering ABS and traction control makes sure you are always in control of any surface changes. There’s also Launch Control, Wheelie Control, switchable power modes, a Quickshifter and Engine Brake Control. We did John a fantastic deal, including a full set of panniers to enhance the bike’s touring capabilities. John was very excited to collect his new bike. Who wouldn’t be!

Fernando is a serious adventure rider who spends his leisure time riding around the world. He came into Procycles BMW Sydney and ordered a new BMW R1300 GS Trophy. Whilst he was waiting for it to arrive, Fernando rode his old R1200 GS across South America! Fernando got back from his ride halfway across the globe, and picked up his new 1300 GS the following day. Trevor is an astute BMW owner and has owned many different models. Over the years, he’s ridden K Series bikes and many Boxers, but has not really been a cruiser type of guy. Until he saw this quite rare BMW R18 100-Year Anniversary Limited Edition model, and it was just too beautiful to resist. Only 1,923 such models were built in Berlin to commemorate the 100 Year Anniversary and the Year the Motorrad factory was founded. There is an air of exclusivity when you walk around this 100-Year R18. A wonderful combination of the hulking 91hp big Boxer engine, the unique paint-on chrome treatment, with a combination of chrome and black paintwork, framed by traditional double pinstripes and accented with a 100 Years badge. The extra spark provided the inclusion of an Option 719 solo seat, with its distinguished oxblood red colours, provides a real pop to the predominately black scheme. Simon likes to stay one model ahead of the rest. He was one of the early adopters, taking delivery of his BMW R1300 GS from the first batch to arrive. This is the top of the range, quintessential gentleman's sport-touring bike, with a real performance sting in it’s tail. It’s fast with effortless acceleration. It can be ridden hard, with its refined 136hp Shift-Cam Boxer-powered engine that is super flexible and torquey, and a chassis that’s rock solid at speed. The BMW R1250 RS Sport has the highest level of standard equipment and electronics, with seamless integration of the control functions, riding modes, traction control and electronic suspension. It has an outstanding load capacity and all-day riding comfort … two-up. With his new super-sophisticated BMW, Eduardo is really going to notice the difference from the hot-rod he was riding.

Lachlan looks pretty happy collecting his first bike ever, a BMW G310 R from Procycles BMW Sydney. The 310 R might be the entry-level model of the BMW fleet, but up close up it’s very evident that this machine definitely came from BMW Motorrad. It’s all BMW quality in the build and finish. The first two upscale items that stand out are the upside down gold front forks and the cast aluminum swingarm. Usually only found on far more expensive bikes. Next is the braking system. ABS is standard, like most bikes, but BMW has upped the game with a 4-piston front calliper, and great responsive brakes are vital when you are just starting out. The 313 cc engine outputs 34 HP, but the real difference is how it’s been mounted. With lots of single-cylinders, the exhaust exits out the front. For the G 310 R, the cylinder head has been rotated 180 degrees backward, positioning the exhaust to exit near the rear spring. This makes for less heat under the seat, something you notice in traffic and on hot days. The G 310 R’s riding position is classic BMW ergonomics. This bike will fit most everyone, and the substantial tank gives the illusion of being on a much larger bike. The display cluster provides all the information – including fuel gauge, trip meter, top speed, average speed, tachometer, clock, gear position, and engine temperature. Every bloke needs a girlfriend like Rachel. She was recommended to us,
at Procycles Kawasaki Sydney, by a good friend of hers. Rachel wanted to do
something special for her boyfriend and she wanted it to be a surprise. Rachel
knew her boyfriend had been looking online at the yet to be released 2025
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R. But when Rachel asked around, nobody knew anything about
it. Until she arrived at Procycles. We found Rachel the only 2025 ZX-14R in the
country! So she bought it. The bike arrived at Procycles Sydney and we wrapped
it up. Rachel then bought her boyfriend to the store. He thought he was test
riding another motorcycle for Rachel’s girlfriend. When he pulled back the bike
cover and saw the new ZX-14R, with a sold sticker for Rachel, and she told him
it was his, he couldn’t believe it. We gave him the key and his hands were
shaking. Happy days. What a great delivery to be part of.

Peter came all the way from Binalong, a small village in the NSW Southern Tablelands and 37 km north-west of Yass, to Procycles Kawasaki Hornsby. He tracked us down because we had stock of the sensational modern-day retro Kawasaki Z900 RS SE. No one else in the country had one. And we know why. The Z900 RS is hot property. Jianmin always loved riding his Harley. Sure it was a beast to ride, but something about it’s raw power always intrigued him. All that was about to change. Christopher is an all-round athlete. He is a Taekwondo and Ninjutsu instructor and does lots of Stunt work. He’s obsessed with his gym routines and he’s a dedicated family man. It would be fair to say Christopher’s approach to everything he does involves dedication and precision. Same approach when he came into Procycles KTM Sydney to talk about a new KTM 350 EXC-F. Berlando was on our doorstep, at Procycles Kawasaki Sydney, right on opening time, keen as to start exploring our range of Kawasaki motorcycles. First off he was amazed by our collection, so many more green bikes than he had seen in any of the other stores he visited. He was particularly interested to see we had the latest Kawasaki ZX-6R KRT in stock, the bike he was really interested in. Berlando was on the money. Steve took advantage of a break in the weather and came down from Newcastle, to Procycles BMW Sydney, to pick up his new BMW R18 B Option 719, finished in Galaxy Dust / Titan Silver and fitted with a Backrest and Sissy Bar. This amazing motorcycle is the Bagger from the BMW R18 Heritage family. This bike makes a bold statement. No subtleties. Just 1802cc of big black Boxer engine that pumps out 158 Nm of torque @ 3,000 rpm. Lance serves his country as a member of the Australian Navy, and when he gets a chance to get back to port, Lance likes to clear his head by heading out on a decent long-distance ride. Owning Australia’s most capable and most popular Superbike was not enough for Kamil. When he ordered the new bike from Procycles BMW Sydney, he decided to trick up his new BMW S1000 RR Race with an Evolution Titanium full system, BMW adjustable rear sets, M Brake & Clutch levers, Frame sliders and a Tinted screen. And despite a head-spinning array of S1000 standard features, when Kamil choose the RR Race variant he also got the Dynamic Package goodies, consisting of Dynamic Damping, Heated grips, Cruise control and Riding Modes Pro, along with M forged wheels, Sports silencer, Tyre pressure monitoring and M endurance chain. The Dynamic Damping Control (DDC) adjusts the front and rear damping by interpreting changes in ride height signals on the fly. This Kawasaki 2024 ZX-6R 40th Anniversary model is a very limited edition motorcycle. Andy ordered his early from Procycles Kawasaki Sydney, after he saw the launch of the 40th online. That was six months ago. We couldn’t even tell him how much it was going to cost. He didn’t care. He just wanted one. So you can imagine how pleased Andy was to get the call to say come and get your bike. The Championship-Winning ZX-R, inspired three-coloured livery, looks amazing. The lime green, pearl crystal white and blue colours conjure up a desire to push all the boundaries and smash the Supersport competition, just like these bikes did back in the day. Fortunately for Andy, this new recreation has been optimised for the street and with its sport riding credentials comes a practicality for everyday riding. Including some modern features like the 4.3” TFT colour instrumentation with Smartphone connectivity. Congratulations Andy. This motorcycle is really something special and we don’t think we can get another one. For love nor money.

Sean lives west of the Central West, and had been looking locally for a Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX, with no luck. So Sean gets online and sees Procycles Kawasaki Sydney have a bike in stock, in the exact spec he wants. Sean rings us, we do the deal over the phone and two days later, he comes down to the big smoke to collect his new motorcycle. Sean’s gonna love this bike. Incredibly strong engine putting out over 140 bhp. Fantastic brakes. Really light and minimalist, yet with all the electronic features of an advanced sportsbike. Michael dropped off his MT03 at Procycles Sydney for a service, and while he waited, he wandered into the Kawasaki showroom. It was there Michael first laid eyes on the 2024 model Kawasaki Z650 RS. Michael threw a leg over the bike, as you do, and immediately made a connection. This is a familiar story with Kawasaki models, the ergonomics are really something and riders instantly feel really comfortable. So Michael casually asks our sales guy Bryan how much we would give him if he was to trade his MT03 on the Z650 RS. Michael has been a long-time customer, so we gave him an excellent change over figure, just to see if he was serious. Michael couldn’t resist and had enough money left over to buy a heap of accessories. He left his old bike in the service department and rode away on his brand new one. A very happy customer. Here, once again, Kawasaki proves that retro styling doesn’t mean sacrificing modern tech. The Z650 RS is a modern retro-sport parallel twin that is LAMS approved and provides a great combination of light, confident handling with a punchy engine that delivers 38 kW [51 hp] and features Kawasaki traction control, with two modes. The first mode is less obtrusive, but mode two is a welcome assistant on wet, slick roads.

Ilias has a need for speed. He loves his high-performance machines. And Ilias rotates them regularly … just to keep it interesting. Apart from the race bikes in his garage that are strictly for track use, Ilias also likes to enjoy the superbike experience when he rides on the road, so he came into Procycles BMW Sydney, to go from his supercharged Ninja H2 SX to the new BMW M1000 XR Competition. Stephen is a regular at Procycles KTM Hornsby and for the last four years has been enjoying getting out on his 2020 KTM 1290 SuperDuke GT. Once you get addicted to the big beastly punch of V-twin power, its hard to go back to being a mere mortal on a four cylinder motorcycle. The rush is just not the same. Stephen saw the launch of KTM’s new 1390 SuperDuke, he came into the shop and rode our demo and it was like he was hooked all over again. The grunty 145 Nm of torque, the awesome 190hp of power characteristics, the incredible electronics, the pinpoint handling, the intuitive WP Semi-Active suspension technology which automatically adapts its settings to the riders input or the road surface, the adjustable shifting and braking controls, it was all there … but there was a lot more of it. The KTM 1390 SuperDuke R reinforces its place as the undisputed Alpha of the Naked pack.

Tom came in to Procycles KTM Sydney to check out his motorcycling options. After a good look around he locked onto the new Gen 3 KTM 390. This is a 90% all new model from what was already a great motorcycle. The major upgrade includes a bigger engine which now delivers 44 bhp. It has a new cylinder head, bigger airbox, new underslung exhaust and gearshift for smoother changes. Gen 3 now has a slimmer, more rigid steel trellis frame, a new cast aluminium subframe and swingarm, with the shock now mounted on the right side, and a bigger airbox. New adjustable suspension includes WP forks with five-way rebound and compression hand adjuster, with the shock getting rebound damping and preload adjustment. New wheels save 4.3kg in weight. The new electronics are amazing with state-of-the-art rider aids. Tom gets Street and Rain modes and new Track mode functions for a lap time. Plus, a launch control system that limits revs to 7000rpm in first gear for the perfect getaways. Cornering ABS and traction control can be switched off on the move for skids and wheelies. Standard you get a new 5” colour TFT screen that’ll Bluetooth to your phone for turn-by-turn navigation, call answering and music control via the KTMconnect app. The LED headlight looks more aggressive. And the best feature for vertically-challenged people is the seat height has been reduced 10mm to 820mm, despite thicker seat foam.

Steve has just bagged himself this gorgeous BMW Black Line from the BMW Motorrad R18 family of heritage motorcycles. This is a cruiser full of character, with timeless design features and featuring a boxer engine with the highest cubic capacity BMW has ever built. A real cruiser for the big boys, punching out 91hp and 158 Nm of torque. Pure muscle and real character. Steve traded his Vulcan S on the R18 BL and he’s about to experience just what it’s like to own and ride a BMW. Not just the extra power. Underneath that classic cruiser skin sits a whole suite of BMW technology, rider aids and creature comforts unheard of in other brands in this class.
