Trevor is an astute BMW owner and has owned many different models. Over the years, he’s ridden K Series bikes and many Boxers, but has not really been a cruiser type of guy. Until he saw this quite rare BMW R18 100-Year Anniversary Limited Edition model, and it was just too beautiful to resist. Only 1,923 such models were built in Berlin to commemorate the 100 Year Anniversary and the Year the Motorrad factory was founded. Simon likes to stay one model ahead of the rest. He was one of the early adopters, taking delivery of his BMW R1300 GS from the first batch to arrive. Lachlan looks pretty happy collecting his first bike ever, a BMW G310 R from Procycles BMW Sydney. The 310 R might be the entry-level model of the BMW fleet, but up close up it’s very evident that this machine definitely came from BMW Motorrad. It’s all BMW quality in the build and finish. The first two upscale items that stand out are the upside down gold front forks and the cast aluminum swingarm. Usually only found on far more expensive bikes. Next is the braking system. ABS is standard, like most bikes, but BMW has upped the game with a 4-piston front calliper, and great responsive brakes are vital when you are just starting out. The 313 cc engine outputs 34 HP, but the real difference is how it’s been mounted. With lots of single-cylinders, the exhaust exits out the front. For the G 310 R, the cylinder head has been rotated 180 degrees backward, positioning the exhaust to exit near the rear spring. This makes for less heat under the seat, something you notice in traffic and on hot days. The G 310 R’s riding position is classic BMW ergonomics. This bike will fit most everyone, and the substantial tank gives the illusion of being on a much larger bike. The display cluster provides all the information – including fuel gauge, trip meter, top speed, average speed, tachometer, clock, gear position, and engine temperature. This is a great bike for both new riders, and those who want a fun city bike to add to their shed.

Bernice could not go past this late model, low kilometres, Aprilia RS660. One look was all it took to decide she wanted it. And why not. The bike looks brand new. Every bloke needs a girlfriend like Rachel. She was recommended to us,
at Procycles Kawasaki Sydney, by a good friend of hers. Rachel wanted to do
something special for her boyfriend and she wanted it to be a surprise. Rachel
knew her boyfriend had been looking online at the yet to be released 2025
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R. But when Rachel asked around, nobody knew anything about
it. Until she arrived at Procycles. We found Rachel the only 2025 ZX-14R in the
country! So she bought it. The bike arrived at Procycles Sydney and we wrapped
it up. Rachel then bought her boyfriend to the store. He thought he was test
riding another motorcycle for Rachel’s girlfriend. When he pulled back the bike
cover and saw the new ZX-14R, with a sold sticker for Rachel, and she told him
it was his, he couldn’t believe it. We gave him the key and his hands were
shaking. Happy days. What a great delivery to be part of.

Peter came all the way from Binalong, a small village in the NSW Southern Tablelands and 37 km north-west of Yass, to Procycles Kawasaki Hornsby. Christopher is an all-round athlete. He is a Taekwondo and Ninjutsu instructor and does lots of Stunt work. He’s obsessed with his gym routines and he’s a dedicated family man. First off he was amazed by our collection, so many more green bikes than he had seen in any of the other stores he visited. The KTM 1390 Super Duke R EVO is a 100%, hardcore, and dominant performance machine. It is truly an evolved BEAST. Owning Australia’s most capable and most popular Superbike was not enough for Kamil. When he ordered the new bike from Procycles BMW Sydney, he decided to trick up his new BMW S1000 RR Race with an Evolution Titanium full system, BMW adjustable rear sets, M Brake & Clutch levers, Frame sliders and a Tinted screen. And despite a head-spinning array of S1000 standard features, when Kamil choose the RR Race variant he also got the Dynamic Package goodies, consisting of Dynamic Damping, Heated grips, Cruise control and Riding Modes Pro, along with M forged wheels, Sports silencer, Tyre pressure monitoring and M endurance chain. This Kawasaki 2024 ZX-6R 40th Anniversary model is a very limited edition motorcycle. Andy ordered his early from Procycles Kawasaki Sydney, after he saw the launch of the 40th online. That was six months ago. We couldn’t even tell him how much it was going to cost. He didn’t care. He just wanted one. So you can imagine how pleased Andy was to get the call to say come and get your bike. The Championship-Winning ZX-R, inspired three-coloured livery, looks amazing. The lime green, pearl crystal white and blue colours conjure up a desire to push all the boundaries and smash the Supersport competition, just like these bikes did back in the day. Fortunately for Andy, this new recreation has been optimised for the street and with its sport riding credentials comes a practicality for everyday riding. Including some modern features like the 4.3” TFT colour instrumentation with Smartphone connectivity. Congratulations Andy. This motorcycle is really something special and we don’t think we can get another one. For love nor money.

Sean lives west of the Central West, and had been looking locally for a Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX, with no luck. So Sean gets online and sees Procycles Kawasaki Sydney have a bike in stock, in the exact spec he wants. Sean rings us, we do the deal over the phone and two days later, he comes down to the big smoke to collect his new motorcycle. Sean’s gonna love this bike. Michael dropped off his MT03 at Procycles Sydney for a service, and while he waited, he wandered into the Kawasaki showroom. It was there Michael first laid eyes on the 2024 model Kawasaki Z650 RS. This is a familiar story with Kawasaki models, the ergonomics are really something and riders instantly feel really comfortable. Michael has been a long-time customer, so we gave him an excellent change over figure, just to see if he was serious. Michael couldn’t resist and had enough money left over to buy a heap of accessories. He left his old bike in the service department and rode away on his brand new one. A very happy customer. Here, once again, Kawasaki proves that retro styling doesn’t mean sacrificing modern tech. Stephen is a regular at Procycles KTM Hornsby and for the last four years has been enjoying getting out on his 2020 KTM 1290 SuperDuke GT. Stephen saw the launch of KTM’s new 1390 SuperDuke, he came into the shop and rode our demo and it was like he was hooked all over again. Tom came in to Procycles KTM Sydney to check out his motorcycling options. After a good look around he locked onto the new Gen 3 KTM 390. This is a 90% all new model from what was already a great motorcycle. The major upgrade includes a bigger engine which now delivers 44 bhp. It has a new cylinder head, bigger airbox, new underslung exhaust and gearshift for smoother changes. Gen 3 now has a slimmer, more rigid steel trellis frame, a new cast aluminium subframe and swingarm, with the shock now mounted on the right side, and a bigger airbox. New adjustable suspension includes WP forks with five-way rebound and compression hand adjuster, with the shock getting rebound damping and preload adjustment. New wheels save 4.3kg in weight. The new electronics are amazing with state-of-the-art rider aids. Tom gets Street and Rain modes and new Track mode functions for a lap time. Plus, a launch control system that limits revs to 7000rpm in first gear for the perfect getaways. Cornering ABS and traction control can be switched off on the move for skids and wheelies. Standard you get a new 5” colour TFT screen that’ll Bluetooth to your phone for turn-by-turn navigation, call answering and music control via the KTMconnect app. The LED headlight looks more aggressive. And the best feature for vertically-challenged people is the seat height has been reduced 10mm to 820mm, despite thicker seat foam.

Steve has just bagged himself this gorgeous BMW Black Line from the BMW Motorrad R18 family of heritage motorcycles. This is a cruiser full of character, with timeless design features and featuring a boxer engine with the highest cubic capacity BMW has ever built. A real cruiser for the big boys, punching out 91hp and 158 Nm of torque. Pure muscle and real character. Steve traded his Vulcan S on the R18 BL and he’s about to experience just what it’s like to own and ride a BMW. Not just the extra power. Peter has mostly been cruising around on a HD. Naturally he wanted more out of his motorcycling. He especially wanted to get off the beaten track and explore the roads he couldn’t previously reach. Peter did his homework and found the KTM 790 Adventure. He called Procycles KTM Hornsby and we told him he could have the bike at an amazing price. Simon says he has always been a keen big bike rider, the latest being a Z1000 Kawasaki. So he is no stranger to high performance machines.
