Li has campaigned a heap of GS Adventures and now he’s ready to mix up the garage and add a new BMW M1000 R to the lineup, he says for commuting …. but at Procycles BMW Sydney, we think otherwise. Patrick went over the bike forensically and then went home to think about it. But not for long. Soon he was back with a fist full of dollars and ready to ride it away.

After years of hard work Pete and Sue have earned their ‘me’ time. Yamaha’s Blue Core engine, delivers 27.6 bhp and the XMAX features include a 4.2-inch TFT display, smartphone connectivity, adjustable screen, and smart key ignition. Sam will be really surprised with its touring capability and speed on the freeways. We think he’ll be disappearing at every opportunity to go riding with the boys.

Gof came into Procycles Yamaha Hornsby with his mate Sam, who was looking at purchasing an Yamaha XMAX for everyday commuter use. While Gof was waiting for Sam to finish up the deal, Gof took a liking to our 2025 Yamaha R1 and gave us a deposit to hold it. He had a bike to trade, so Gof came in the following weekend for a 40-point inspection of his old bike and to finalize his R1 deal. These Yamaha R1’s have come a long way in significant recent model updates. Gof now gets a refined, track-focused superbike, with a feather-light clutch, and amazingly responsive braking capabilities with new Brembo Stylema callipers, updated KYB gold suspension, and functional carbon fibre winglets for improved downforce and effortless control, even at high speeds. Yamaha has also introduced a new, grippier seat texture to stop the g-forces edging you off the back. This new Yamaha R1 really does rev your heart.

Casimiro was super happy with his 2019 S1000RR M Sport, so there was no doubt what his next new bike was going to be – the latest gen S1000RR M Sport, from Procycles BMW Sydney.

His old bike was awesome, but Casimiro is going to find the new one on another level. This high-performance superbike delivers 210hp, (154kW) at 13,750rpm and 113Nm at 11,00rpm, with speeds north of 280km/h quite possible. Impressively, you barely notice any of the features in action. And all of this in a bike that weighs 198kg wet.

Procycles Sydney always maintain a large fleet of BMW Demonstrators. When you are venturing into something new, its good to try before you buy. Like Daniel. He came in to see Sean, our BMW sales guy at St Peters, to enquire about BMW’s new R12 GS. While he was here, he decided to take out the BMW F900 GS Enduro as a comparison. One ride was all it took. Forget Heritage. Daniel wanted Adventure. He had to have the 900 Enduro. And why not?

The BMW F900 GS Enduro is a "proper" dirt-focused GS. Significantly updated and 14kg lighter than its predecessor, the old model 850 GS. A more powerful middleweight adventure bike that features a 105hp 895cc engine with strong, usable power, particularly in lower gears. Excellent fully adjustable Showa suspension (230mm front, 215mm rear), and a slim, aggressive design optimized for technical dirt riding. It has upright ergonomics and includes a TFT display, riding modes (including Enduro), and optional connectivity features.

Many dyed-in-the-wool GS riders will tell you the F900 GS Enduro is the pick of the GS fleet. Lighter, more manageable and so much more user-friendly, when you just want to go out and have fun. Certainly Daniel agrees.

Roberta and her partner are a Brazilian couple who needed to independently negotiate Sydney’s traffic, but like everything else they do, they wanted to do it in style. The team at Procycles BMW Sydney went straight to the top shelf and put Roberta on a new BMW C400 GT ion, the very best available at the high-end of the scooter market.

After exploring all his different options, Sean finally decided that the BMW F900 GS Adventure, from Procycles BMW Sydney, was the right bike and dealer for him.

The new generation BMW F900 GS Adventure is everything that BMW adventure riders wanted from the old 850 GS. It’s a significant, premium update to the middleweight adventure segment, offering a more powerful 105 hp engine, reduced weight, and improved off-road capability. Laine was on the hunt for a bike that delivered a true supermoto experience. His target was the KTM 690 SMC-R. Laine started calling around to see if anyone had one available, but luck wasn’t on his side. He should have come straight to Procycles KTM Sydney.

He eventually gave us a call and we confirmed we had the bike in stock and the paperwork was completed over the phone, Laine lives on the South Coast, so by the time he got here we had his brand-new 690 SMC-R ready to slide.

Jose was tooling around Sydney on a Harley Street 500, a LAMS version of the real deal. It was ok for city riding, but with limited cornering clearance. When it was time to step up to a middleweight naked, Jose made the right choice this time. A Yamaha MT-09. He came into Procycles Yamaha at St Peters. Ahmed is a very experienced Superbike rider. He has owned generations of BMW S1000 RRs, and a previous M1000 RR that he parted ways with only a week ago. His separation anxiety only lasted a few days and Ahmed was back at Procycles BMW Sydney to take delivery of the best of the best. A stunning, latest generation BMW M1000 RR Competition. This motorcycle is the winner of the World Superbike Championships. It doesn’t get any better.
The acceleration from BMW’s inline four-cylinder is as immense as it is user-friendly. Over 218 horsepower delivered so smoothly and with such force, you could be forgiven for thinking you were channelling the skills of WSBK champion Toprak Razgatlioglu. The bike is dripping with competition carbon wherever you look, including the wheels. And unlike its Euro competitors, BMW’s legendary ergonomics offer a quite comfortable all-day ride.
For those who count every millisecond, the M1000 RR Competition has been homologated for racing and aerodynamically optimised in a wind tunnel for a stable ride at 314 km/h. Niraj called us at Procycles Kawasaki Hornsby last week to check if we had stock of the 2026 model Kawasaki Z500 SE. He was chasing two bikes, one for himself and one for his mate Sandeep.

Dominic lost touch with his riding a few years ago and let his license lapse. It wasn’t long before he realised there was something missing in his life. Gone was the joy and the feeling of escapism that you get when riding your motorcycle. Domenic decided to do something about it and came in to check his options at Procycles Kawasaki Sydney. We took him through the 650cc Naked category and he immediately locked onto the Kawasaki Z650.
