This GUARD engine protection bar offers the perfect balance of maximum protection and optimised weight

The development of this Wunderlich GUARD engine protection bar focused on achieving the ideal compromise between maximum protection and low weight.

Its compact geometry reliably protects not only the engine, but also the water pump, clutch and alternator and their respective covers – without compromising ground or lean angle clearance. The two-part engine protection bar fits tightly and gains additional stability and stiffness through its specific design – all while maintaining optimised component weight. The bars for the right and left sides are each securely mounted at two existing points. In the event of a fall or tip-over, the forces are effectively distributed across the bar structure to the solid mounting points, reducing peaks and material stress. In combination with the ULTIMATE tank protection bar (#41586-004), it forms a proven all-round protection concept, enhances passive safety and increases riding enjoyment.
The bar structure is made of 25 mm precision steel tubing. The tube segments are shaped on CNC bending machines and then neatly welded.

Visually, the protection bar integrates seamlessly into the motorcycle’s design, complementing its bold character and enhancing the adventure look in a premium way.
