Note and recommendation
Motorcycles are often designed so that, when an engine protection bar is installed, the footrest and protection bar make contact with the ground at roughly the same lean angle, which is uncritical in terms of tyre grip. It is important to remember that factors such as load, dips or potholes can affect lean angle clearance.

This Wunderlich GUARD engine protection bar is designed for maximum protection with maximum lean angle clearance.

It reliably protects the cylinders and valve covers. The all-round protection concept increases passive safety and enhances riding pleasure. In the event of a fall or tip-over, the acting forces are optimally distributed via the bar structure to the solid mounting points, preventing force peaks and effectively reducing material stress.

The bar structure is made of 25 mm precision steel tubing, CNC bent and cleanly welded. Visually, it integrates perfectly into the design of the motorcycle and complements its distinctive appearance. It is compatible with the original BMW cylinder head cover protection, Option 719 ignition coil covers, and original auxiliary lights. Our ULTIMATE engine protection bar is maintenance-friendly: oil drain plug and oil filter cartridge remain fully accessible without removing the bar.
