Our unique passenger seat offers the high ergonomic, cushioning and sizing standards of premium rider seats. The shape of the cover, the elaborate stitching and the handcrafted work of our saddlers ensure a seat that integrates beautifully into the design of the BMW R 1300 GS, despite a generous increase of 70 mm in seat width compared to the standard model. The enlarged surface area reduces seat pressure, providing noticeably more comfort.

Why do we do this?
Simply because many customers ask for it. Especially those who would love to enjoy riding together but are put off by the discomfort of standard passenger seats, which are only good for a short ride to the nearest ice cream café.

Our seats are manufactured with a characteristic, highly ergonomic 3D contour. A special feature of our passenger seat is the integrated support contour at the front, which provides extra stability when braking. This design ensures a relaxed yet active ride. Without question, a relaxed seating position increases active safety.

AKTIVKOMFORT Seat with adjustable seat heating Smart Plug & Play
Smart Plug & Play: This seat with comfort heating replaces the original seat. It requires the original seat to be equipped with heating and the motorcycle to have the corresponding power supply.
Before installation, simply connect the pre-configured Plug & Play cable to the bike’s electrical system. The heat level is controlled via the motorcycle’s standard menu.

The AKTIVKOMFORT heating element consists of a robust fleece embedded with a fine yet exceptionally strong and durable stainless steel filament heating wire. This elaborate, long-lasting construction ensures an even heat distribution that significantly enhances seating comfort while remaining flexible under stress from movement, stretching, and compression during riding.

Because riders and passengers have different ergonomic needs, BMW specialist Wunderlich designs its AKTIVKOMFORT seats with tailored contours for each. Both seats feature our signature 3D ergonomic contour, optimally supporting the natural posture of the pelvis.

All Wunderlich AKTIVKOMFORT seats share these key features:
Thanks to their clever construction, the padding does not sag, and pressure is evenly distributed over a larger surface area, significantly reducing specific pressure points. The ergonomic foam shape also relieves pressure on the coccyx.
They provide excellent support and precise control, particularly when braking. Many riders are familiar with the moment when the pillion passenger suddenly pushes forward during braking, making it harder to steer. With Wunderlich’s specially designed support contour, such moments are a thing of the past.
