Our unique passenger seat on the market offers a level of comfort comparable to high-quality, modern rider seats in terms of ergonomics, cushioning, and especially size. The meticulous craftsmanship, intricate stitching, and attention to detail by our saddlers ensure that—despite a generous 70mm increase in width compared to the standard seat—this seat blends seamlessly into the design of the BMW R 1300 GS. At the same time, the significantly enlarged surface area reduces seat pressure, providing noticeably greater comfort.

Why do we do this?
Quite simply because many customers have asked for it. Especially those who miss the joy of touring and riding together, as the comfort of today's standard passenger seats is barely sufficient for a short ride to the nearest ice cream parlour, but far from adequate for longer trips.

• Comfort Extra: Queens-Edition! Enhanced comfort with a generously sized seating surface
• Before the seat is reinstalled as usual, the electrical connection to the motorcycle's onboard power supply simply needs to be established. This is done via plug & play.
• The desired heating level (Off, Heating Level 1, Heating Level 2) can be adjusted as usual using a conveniently positioned switch on the right-hand side of the seat in the direction of travel.
• The rider is informed via the onboard menu display when the pillion seat heating element is activated.
• The AKTIVKOMFORT seat heating element ensures an evenly distributed, optimally warm feeling for increased comfort – durable and robust design with high-tensile, stainless steel filament heating wire
• Relaxed and active riding also improves active safety for the passenger
• Ergonomic, specially developed 3-D contour for the passenger to support the natural posture of the pelvis and ensure a comfortable leg position while riding

We manufacture our seats with a distinctive, specially designed, ergonomic 3-D contour. A special feature of our passenger seat is the integrated support contour at the front, which provides extra stability during braking. With this integration, riding is both relaxed and active. And, without a doubt, relaxed seating enhances active safety. Our ThermoPro rider and passenger seats maintain a seat surface temperature up to 25°C lower in direct summer sunlight compared to conventional cover material.

AKTIVKOMFORT Seat with Adjustable Smart Plug & Play Seat Heating
Smart Plug & Play: This seat with comfort seat heating replaces the original seat. The prerequisite is that the original seat is also equipped with heating and the motorcycle has the necessary power supply.
Before installing the seat as usual, simply connect it to the motorcycle’s electrical system. This is done using the matching pre-configured Plug & Play cable! The desired heating level (Off, Heating Level 1, Heating Level 2) can be adjusted as usual using a conveniently positioned switch on the right-hand side of the seat in the direction of travel, while the rider is notified in the onboard menu when the pillion seat heating element is activated.

Because rider and passenger requirements differ, BMW specialist Wunderlich manufactures its AKTIVKOMFORT seats with a specific contour for each. The shape of the rider and passenger seats differs in detail according to their unique ergonomic needs. However, both feature the proven, characteristic, ergonomic 3-D contour, where the shape and inclination of the meticulously crafted seat core support the natural and ergonomically advantageous posture of the pelvis.
