We also manufacture this heated AKTIVKOMFORT seat with a characteristic, ergonomic 3D contour that allows the rider to become one with their BMW Motorrad. It is designed for motorcycles that were delivered without factory seat heating. The heating power of the high-quality Carbon heating element is controlled conveniently and safely with a two-stage switch positioned on the left-hand side of the seat - so the throttle hand stays where it belongs: on the handlebars. The shape and inclination of the elaborately crafted seat bench core, into which the Carbon seat heating element is integrated, support the ergonomically favourable, natural position of the pelvis. Integrated into the motorcycle in this way, riding is simply relaxed and therefore active. And, there's no doubt about it, relaxed sitting creates a plus in passive safety. With our ThermoPro rider and passenger seat benches, the temperature of the seat surface is up to 25°C lower in the blazing sun at the height of summer compared to conventional upholstery material. To remove the seat bench, the power supply can be disconnected using a quick-release coupling.
