The attachment of our Wunderlich tank protection bar utilizes the mounting locations of the original BMW Auxiliary lights. Therefore, if your bike has the factory auxiliary lights, you will also need this bracket when installing the upper protection bar. The additional installation of this bracket will allow robust and seamless attachment of the BMW auxiliary lights in nearly the same location.
