Old School: Unique swinging saddle in "RockBob" style, matching the BMW R 18 with our "RockBob" tail conversion.

A primary and defining detail of our "RockBob" concept is where the rider encounters the bobber: on the springer seat. The ergonomic seat, handcrafted expert upholsterers, is made of robust imitation leather. The old school springer seat is adorned with the partial diamond-shaped stitching of the waterproof cover. The look of this premium seat inevitably recalls images of a true legend, the BMW R 32.

The ergonomic shape of the special foam relieves the pressure-sensitive coccyx and is specially adapted to the seat geometry of the BMW R 18. With these proven measures, we achieve exceptional, ergonomic comfort.

The ingenious design enables a clear view of the shock absorber.

The springer seat is supported by two visibly arranged, high-quality chrome-plated and carefully tuned springs on the extremely elegant, two-part seat base, therefore comfortably and confidently absorbing shocks and impacts. We decided on this unusual shape of the seat base because the elaborate, refined construction enables a clear view of the shock absorber. The seat base, made of stainless steel and powder-coated black, is securely bolted to the frame.

• The seat height of 735mm is about 45 mm higher than the standard seat height of the R 18 and about 25 mm higher than the standard seat height of the R 18 classic.
