Wunderlich water radiator guard F 450 GS

The Wunderlich water radiator guard effectively protects the radiator, ensures constant cooling performance in the long term, optimises cooling-air throughput and reduces the risk of costly consequential damage

Function and product features

• Optimum protection for the water radiator
• Our radiator grille effectively protects the radiator, ensures optimum cooling-air throughput in the long term and reduces, for example, the risk of costly consequential damage
• Because if the radiator is damaged or starts leaking, continuing the ride may no longer be possible

• In terms of both design and function, the protective grille blends perfectly into the front silhouette
• Carefully manufactured using high-quality materials:
• The robust, close-meshed stainless-steel grille catches larger objects such as stones, insects or other foreign bodies and protects the radiator
• For this purpose, the stainless-steel grille is seated – using sophisticated joining technology – in a sturdily designed yet lightweight frame made of anodised aluminium
• The mounting is vibration-damped
• The water radiator guard replaces the standard grille insert in just a few simple steps
• Supplied as a kit incl. mounting material
• With Wunderlich brand logo

Wunderlich water radiator guard – preserves cooling performance and prevents overheating

The water radiator of the BMW F 450 GS is positioned exactly where it should be in terms of airflow, namely optimally in the airstream. However, this means that stone chips from vehicles ahead, insects and other dirt can hit the finely ribbed radiator core unprotected. In addition to the unavoidable dirt, which already leads to reduced cooling performance, damage to the radiator core can also occur in the form of bent fins. In the case of severe stone impact, a leak cannot be ruled out either, making it impossible to continue riding because engine cooling can no longer be guaranteed. Cleaning is awkward and requires a lot of manual work. The Wunderlich water radiator guard permanently preserves cooling performance and reduces the risk of costly consequential damage.
